Participants
Patient Rights
This page explains participant-facing rights and boundaries inside BBK RPS administrative workflows.
Last updated: September 15, 2026Your role in BBK RPS
BBK RPS supports people interested in research opportunities through administrative intake, contact coordination, and referral routing.
Your decision about whether to speak with a Research Site, continue screening, sign a study consent form, or participate in a study remains yours.
Access and correction
- You may review participant portal information connected to your account.
- You may update contact methods and communication preferences from the participant portal when those tools are available.
- If information shown to a recruiter is outdated, BBK RPS can record the participant portal update and keep intake contact history visible for operational context.
Communication choices
- You may choose whether to receive SMS/text messages from BBK RPS.
- SMS/text message consent is optional and is not required to submit intake or receive BBK RPS administrative services.
- You may ask BBK RPS to stop using future research opportunity permission without affecting a current Site referral already in progress.
Clinical decisions
Final screening, clinical eligibility, informed consent for study participation, and enrollment decisions are handled by the Research Site and Principal Investigator, not BBK RPS.
