How it works

A Simpler Path to Research Opportunities

BBK RPS helps organize the early steps before a Research Site decides whether a Study may be appropriate.

01

Discover

See a research opportunity that may be relevant to you or your family.

02

Register

Create secure access and provide the required permissions.

03

Pre-Screen

Complete preliminary Study-specific questions.

04

Connect

When appropriate, BBK RPS routes a referral to the authorized Research Site.

05

Research Site

The Research Site performs final screening and determines Study eligibility.

Your research profile

One secure place for your research journey.

A participant can interact with multiple Studies over time. BBK RPS is not designed around one person equaling one Study.

Secure access

Access is handled through secure participant sign-in links and protected sessions.

Separate permissions

Current-study consent, future research opportunity consent and communication permissions are tracked separately.

Ongoing profile

Participants can review timeline, communication preferences and active preliminary pre-screening steps.

Pre-screening

Preliminary information is not final eligibility.

BBK RPS may collect Study-specific preliminary pre-screening answers to support routing and human review. The Research Site handles final screening, medical verification, informed consent for Study participation and enrollment.

Important participant note

BBK RPS does not practice medicine, diagnose, recommend treatment or determine whether a person is eligible for a clinical Study.

Parents and caregivers

Support for dependents is handled through the adult account.

Some research opportunities may involve children or dependents. In those situations, a parent or legal guardian creates and manages the BBK RPS account and provides information for the potential participant.

No independent child accounts

Children under 13 should not independently create accounts or submit information to BBK RPS.

Available Studies

Research opportunities are published only when ready.

New research opportunities are added as BBK RPS recruitment campaigns become available.

If you received a direct Study campaign link, use that link to reach the correct approved public intake page.

Public information stays public. Sensitive workflows stay secure.

Public pages introduce BBK RPS and route visitors. Participant data, preliminary pre-screening, referral review, and recruiter operations remain inside the secure BBK RPS platform.
